How does annual billing work?
You're charged once for the year. Your subscription renews automatically on the anniversary unless you cancel through the Stripe billing portal from your account. Annual billing is about 30% cheaper than month-to-month on both Student Pro and Instructor Pro.
Can I switch between monthly and annual later?
Yes. Open the Stripe billing portal from your account and change your interval. Credit for unused time on your current plan is applied to the new one automatically.
Is Student Pro good enough for a university logic course?
Student Pro includes every reasoning track needed for a standard intro-to-logic course (arguments, fallacies, categorical logic, propositional logic, predicate logic, proofs) plus tracks most intro courses skip (abductive, Bayesian, problem-solving). The proof editor actually checks your work — it's not a multiple-choice toy.
What's the difference between Instructor Pro and Institution?
Instructor Pro is for individual educators — adjuncts, tutors, homeschool leaders, AP instructors — who pay for their own tools. Institution pricing is for departments, schools, and districts that want volume discounts, SSO, SIS integration, and a signed FERPA Data Processing Agreement. If you're the only logic teacher paying, pick Instructor Pro. If procurement is involved, contact us.
Do you offer refunds?
Annual plans can be refunded within 14 days of purchase, no questions asked. After that we prorate the unused portion on a case-by-case basis. Monthly plans can be canceled at any time and you keep access until the end of the current period.
Is my purchase tied to a semester?
No. Student Pro annual is a full 12 months starting the day you buy it. If you buy in September, you're covered through the following September regardless of how your institution structures its terms.
How does institutional pricing work?
Institutional pricing starts at $5 per enrolled student per year with volume discounts and a floor for very small departments. Typical annual commitments run $2,500 for small liberal-arts colleges up to $30,000+ for R1 universities with multiple logic sections per term. Every institutional deal includes a signed FERPA DPA, a current sub-processor list, and dedicated instructor onboarding. Talk to us.
Where can I see your legal documents?
Terms of Service, Privacy Policy, and our FERPA Statement are public and up to date.
